When you read this, it will be exactly sixteen days until Christmas. That leaves only fifteen days of making and prepping and wrapping little packages of awesomeness to place under a Christmas tree. To be more specific, MY Christmas tree in MY living room. Oi Vey!
The clock is ticking and if I’m being 100% honest with all of you, I haven’t purchased a SINGLE gift yet. Or made one, or wrapped up a something from years ago to re-gift. Hmmmmmm.
Honestly, it’s not because I’m going all Scrooge on everyone this year, it’s because I could not, for the life of me, decide on what I wanted to do for anyone in my family. It was getting ridiculous. SO
I decided to pull out the big yarns and get to the making as quickly as I can. I have my eyes set on these- Simple House Slippers by Simone A.
They are perfect looking and take DK weight yarn, and I think I have enough in my stash to make the 7 pairs I’m setting out to make. Lets be honest though, will I make 7 pair? I don’t know.
But because I know me, I brought in back up this time, and decided on these too: North Country Mitts by Andrea Mowry
These sweet looking mitts take a whopping 75 yards of Aran weight yarn. So bring it on procrastinating self- I’m about to take you down. Waaaaay down!
On another note- the new podcast episode it up, you can find it on the menu drop down or right HERE
I hope you all have a wonderful day. Until next time,
